11 Months

Tate is 11 months old today.  I can't believe he's almost a year old already! These months have just flown by.  It is so fun to watch Tate learn something new almost everyday.

We came home from daycare on Monday and it was very quiet for a few minutes while Ian and I started dinner.  I looked over and Tate was just happily reading books to himself!  Too cute!

I'm going to Jackson

Tate practicing his driving skills while we were in Jackson Hole for New Year's Eve.  Tate spent most of NYE awake as he was teething and causing us all pain :) Poor guy!

Good Family Times

We had a great time in Sun Valley; full of good food and lots of laughs.  We were just missing Ndi.

Playdate

Davina, Owen, and Hadley Walker had all of us over for a playdate while we were in Sun Valley.  Kristina, Mabel, and Hannah Casey came over too.  So fun to get all the kids together!  Next time it will have to be in the pool or on the ski trails-so much energy!

Don't know if this counts as playing nicely if Hannah's crying...

But they managed to share a snack together.

Christmas Day Ski

After opening presents we all went for an afternoon ski.  It was sunny and beautiful and just the perfect day for a ski with grandma, grandpa, the former ski racers and the future ski racers!

Christmas Morning

Even though Tate woke the whole house up with teething pains on Christmas Eve, Santa still came to the Skinner house and we had a great time opening presents Christmas morning.

After our big Christmas eve dinner, Ian was holding Tate and playing hockey with Henrik and Tate thought it was the funniest thing in world.  He just laughed and laughed.  Maybe he'll be a hockey player?

Here are a couple of shots we were able to catch of Tate sitting with me and Grandma.  He will hardly sit still so we were lucky to get these!

Fresh air

We all arrived in Hailey after lots of driving and we were glad to get out and enjoy some fresh air by heading out to find a sledding hill where we could all burn off some energy.  Of course Tate fell fast asleep in the sled.  It was so sunny and beautiful-now I know why they call it Sun Valley!

1st Christmas

We were lucky enough to have two first Christmases this year.  Our first celebration was with Mormor and Grandpa Todd when they were here.  A little unsure at first, Tate got into the present opening by the end.
