Teething

Tate has been working on his first tooth for a couple of weeks now as is evident by constant drooling and the need to put everything in his mouth. I can feel it when he chomps down on my finger but can't quit see it yet.

Anything cold feels good including Daddy's beer bottle.
But here's a toy that more suited for little babies!
Happy as can be!

On the Move

Tate is 7 months old and loves to wiggle and move.  We've replaced his floor gym with a new walker as he was always rolling off the mat and into the wall!  He rolls all over the place and has even starting rolling over in his sleep.  So far the Jeep seems to be a big hit!

Labor Day

I found a baby pool on sale the other day since it's the almost the end of summer.  It doesn't feel like the end of summer though, so we filled it up for Tate to play in the other day.  He splashed and kicked and played for over a half hour-So much fun!

My new favorite!

Wyoming Weekend

We had a great time in Wyoming this weekend.  It was nice and quiet at Ian's parents house in Pinedale.  Saturday morning we woke up early and went for a hike in the Green River Lakes area.  Tate loved hiking in the bjorn-he talked and sang while checking everything out.  It was a beautiful day and a great area for a hike.  We also saw some of the camp sites from Skinner Brothers Wildness Camp-very cool!

Rocking the Babushka look!
At the waterfalls and all tuckered out.

Future Farmer

Our backyard is overflowing with tomatoes so one afternoon Tate went out to help Ian pick some ripe ones.

Hives

Poor little guy has had hives for the past 10 days.  They almost disappear and then before you know it they're back. We've tried to think of anything and everything that could have caused them and we've changed laundry soap, given up on cereal...
Tate doesn't seem to be too bothered by them as he's still smiling and giggling and playing all the time.  The doctor doesn't know what it is at the moment either.  If they don't clear up for good in the next couple days we're headed to the allergist to see if we can determine what it might be.  I couldn't believe how intense they were so I had to take a picture even though it was too awful to look at!

At the doctor's office

Feeling better and still playing!
