Auntie Bridget, Auntie Heidi and baby Cade came to visit this past weekend and what a fun time we had! The boys were on a little bit of a different nap schedule: As soon as one went down for a nap, it seemed like the other woke up. We still had time for lots of playing and catching up. It was way too short of a visit but hopefully we can make it an annual event!
Tate laughed and laughed when Cade played on his chair with him.
We tried some rice cereal tonight in the hopes that it will fill up the little guy and help him sleep through the night. Don't know how much actually made it in his mouth, but he sure wanted to help!
Tate's 5 months old today and I can't hardly believe it! He such a wiggle worm these days it's hard to remember when he was sleeping all the time and would just cuddle up on my chest. Now he's more interested in seeing what's happening around him and giving everything a taste test!
Watching the Tour de France with Daddy early in the morning.
Tonight we captured Tate's attempts at rolling over on video. He's a scooter so it's hard to know if he's going to roll over first or go straight to crawling.
Today we took a field trip to Ikea to get a bookcase for Tate's room. Something we have been meaning to do since before he was born... Ian put it together this afternoon and it's just perfect! Now to fill it up with more books!
Here's the first of the squash from our garden. It was delicious in our pasta!
We kept it pretty simple for the 4th this year-just hanging out in SLC. We played at the pool, napped in the hammock, and had a BBQ with our best bud Owen. I was off for a few days before starting my new job this week so it was great to just hang out as a family!
Here we're playing, playing, playing so hard we fell asleep mid-play!
