Hiking, Biking, and Camping

We had a great overnight trip to Moab this weekend with the Bowmans from Bozeman.  The boys did some serious mountain biking and the girls and Baby Tate did some serious hiking.  It was warm and sunny during the day even though it rained hard at night.  I was a little worried about how Tate would sleep in a tent, but we bundled him up and he did great!  Hopefully we'll have many more camping adventures to come!

Big Boy

We had our two month check up last week and I was excited to see how much weight Tate had gained in a month.  Turns out quite a bit!  Tate weighted 12.5 lbs-which I figure is about a pound a week since last month.  He's getting cute little chubby thighs and dimples where his elbows should be.  Good thing too since he had to have immunization shots in both legs; poor guy!

Over the hills to Great-Grandma's

We drove to Denver last weekend to see my Grandma, Tate's Great-Grandma.  It was a great family event as Grandma (Mormor) and Grandpa and Uncle Jake were also there.  We had lots of laughs and everyone got a chance to hold the baby-including Jake who wasn't so sure about it in the beginning!  

It was a relatively quick trip, but such a treat for Tate to meet his one of his Great-Grandma's and now he can say he's been to 3 states and he's only 2 months old!  

Tate got his own bed in the hotel in Grand Junction, CO  where we stayed the first night-Lucky!

We've been getting out and about lately making friends.  So far I think the Moms enjoy it more than the babies do!
