Just had a mini photo shoot to make sure we documented the occasion. Tate's pushing the seams on his newborn outfits and it won't be long before they don't fit at all!

Road Trip Trial Run
Tate took his first road trip this weekend as we headed south to Zion National Park for a little sun, hiking, biking and relaxing. He slept through most of the adventure, but I think he enjoyed getting out of the Salt Lake valley as much as his mom did! We are headed to Denver in two weeks so this was a good test!

One month old!
Another reason to celebrate today!
Tate's really growing; he weighed 8 lbs 10 oz at today's checkup; that's almost 2 lbs in two weeks!
He is trying hard to hold his head up and is beginning to really focus on our voices when we talk to him. Tate doesn't seem to interested in taters though! Silly Dad!
It's been really nice weather the last couple of days so Tate and I have been taking lots of walks in the park. I think it wears him out! :) So sweet when he's fast asleep.

Big Belly
Tate's tummy is the biggest part of his body-especially after he eats, which is when these pictures were taken. His little double chins are so cute! Tomorrow we go for a 4 week weigh-in to make sure he's gaining weight. I would say so!

Tate's Three Weeks Old
Today Tate is three weeks old. It's amazing how fast these last few weeks have flown by-even for his sleep deprived parents! It seems that by the time I get one outfit washed and dried, he's outgrown it!
This week we're having a great visit from Grandma and Grandpa Skinner and the Quintilios. Tate's been spoiled with lots of hugs and kisses from his aunt and uncles and everyone else. Lots of great food and story-telling so far.
It will sure feel lonely next week when there are no more Grandparents to visit. We are already looking forward to another visit in April!

2 weeks and growing!
Hard to believe Tate's already two weeks old! We've had lots of firsts these past two weeks including our first bath, first walk, and first visit from Grandma and Grandpa Todd! It was love at first sight and Tate spent many happy minutes being rocked by Grandma.
We're up a couple times a night but luckily just long enough for a little snack! His little cheeks are filling in and it seems like he's growing and changing before our very eyes!
This is one of my favorites right now-everyday there's a new one.
