Reno

We decided to make a mad dash to Reno one weekend in May to see our friends and take our new truck for a test drive.  It was a lot of driving in a short amount of time but we had a wonderful weekend catching up with friends and meeting the newest baby of the gang, Maggie Rassuchine.  

Tate loved playing with Eva, Brynn, Brooke, and Stig.  Eva's house had lots of shopping carts, kitchens, and toys that we don't have at our house so he was in heaven.  Peja was the perfect little trooper, sleeping anywhere and everywhere!

Soccer

I got a chance to practice my Soccer Mom skills this spring as we signed Tate up for soccer.  Ollie and Tate were a little too young as they were more interested in running around the field than following the ball and listening to the coach explain the rules was definitely out.  Luckily it was only 3 weeks long.  Maybe next year!

Spring Time

Springtime in Salt Lake means playing outside in warmer weather, and smiling babies, boys and daddies! These were taken in April and May.

Life

I think that's what you call it when the days blur together and before you know it, it's October with the holidays right around the corner.  Every night I have grand plans for updating the blog and every night they get pushed to the side. Take tonight for example:  bath time was delayed as Peja pooped in the tub two different times, Tate was out of bed for numerous excuses, we discovered mold on the carpet due to the remodel, and I forgot my debt card on a late night trip to the store as we were out of all things for breakfast. And this is just a random Wednesday night.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel.  The current phase of the basement remodel is almost complete, I feel like I'm getting the hang of my new job and have a little more brain power at the end of the day to hop back online and post to the blog.  I haven't stopped taking pictures even in my absence so there is much to update.  Tomorrow-I'll try again tomorrow!

4 Months Big

Peja is 4 months old today and a complete joy!  She's happy most of the time and loves to smile, talk and laugh at you.  She's getting close to rolling over and has tried sitting up in the bumbo a few times although it's not her favorite place to be.  Even wildman Tate seems to slow down for a chance to play and snuggle with Peja when she's on her play mat.

Little Bug

Peja is 3 months old today! She's beginning to coo and talk and smiles all the time. I just love it! It will be hard to leave her for work every day when I start back full time next week, but it will help all of us get on a schedule which will be good.
