September Visitors

Mormor, Grandpa, and Aunt Bev came to visit in September.  It was nice to have visitors after a quiet summer.  We took lots of walks and did some good playing outside while Grandpa and Ian went for an overnight trip to Wyoming on their motorcycles.

Getting ready to send the guys off
A walk to the nearby park was super fun

Labor Day Field Trip

While Ian was busy working on the basement, Tate and I went to our friend's house up in Ogden to play in her pool over Labor Day.  Tate had fun in the water but really loved being able to go for tractor rides and to visit the animals next door.

Wild Man

Look at those curls!!
It was obviously too hot for shirts in August!

Good Eats

Tate loves rice even though he only gets about half in his mouth.

The rest usually ends up on the floor for Mommy or Daddy to clean up!

And Olives!! He would eat them at every meal if we gave him the chance!
Yum!

Hiking

We tried to pack as many activities into each day in Alaska as possible so one day when we were in Anchorage, we went for a hike up Flattop.  It's a quick little hike and provides some good views of the city and the inlet.  We forgot Antija's shoes in the truck so she did the whole hike in her crocs-she's a tough little girl!

Tate and Ian were loving the borrowed backpack.

All tuckered out on the way home!

Fishing!

The Canadians were anxious to go fishing as much as possible so after the cabin, we headed down to Seward to see what we could find.  Ntala was the lucky one this trip catching 2 beautiful salmon!

Cabin Fun

There were 13 of us at the cabin for the first 4 days of our trip.  The 3 of us, Mormor and Grandpa, Ian's cousin Darcy, Brad, Bjorn, and Lars who live in Anchorage, and the 4 Quintilios.  There was plenty to do as there was always someone exploring, fishing, ATV riding, wood chopping, eating, drinking, fire stoking, playing in the sand or playing games.  And of course lots of great laughs!

Almost all of us at the playground in Talkeetna
A rare photo where I was fast enough to catch a smile
